VEGETARIAN DISH CHEF’S RECOMMENDATION


Your view of our world-view. classy, casual & comfortable. Neither philosophy
nor concept. Not boutique or bistro.

Vietnamese, Mediterranean… fresh & natural… seasoned & subtle. Fresh herbs
& traditional flavors with Asian sensitivity of spices & color, served in our
restaurant overlooking the sea.

The Spice House at Cassia Cottage is an extension of our spice export business.
We supply cassia (known as Saigon cinnamon), pepper & star anise to major
food manufacturers all over the world. Our only commercial sauces are Heinz
Ketchup & Kikkoman soy sauce. We serve Celestial Seasonings tea & Columbian
Arabica Starbucks coffee. For the sweet tooth, we use Häagen-Dazs ice-cream
exclusively.
Everything else is made by us, never bought at the roadside.

We locally source sustainable produce as much as possible, and combine them


with the finest imported products. All our ingredients are without MSG,
preservatives or artificial colouring – no exceptions.

We began serving food for ourselves on Ba Keo beach in 1999 in the Main House.
We hope you enjoy our food as much as we have.

The Spice House at CASSIA COTTAGE serves the food we like, without pretense
or artifice, but with full flavor.
