Kristeel–Shinwa Industries Ltd., a member of the KRISLON GROUP OF COMPANIES, was established in 1973. It was set up in technical
collaboration with Shinwa Rules Company Limited, Japan, the largest manufacturer of stainless steel rules and measuring instruments in Asia.

KRISTEEL–SHINWA has the largest share of the Indian market and is the most preferred choice in the International market for Stainless Steel
Precision Rules & Gauges. KRISTEEL has its headquarters in Mumbai & its state of the art manufacturing set-up is located at Silvassa. The factory
is laid out to the collaborators exacting standards, with plant & equipments, imported from USA, Italy and Germany. Ongoing R & D, stringent quality
control, inspection and constant up-gradation of plant and machinery makes KRISTEEL products the most preferred brand in Indian industry today.

 MODEL VWWG V WAC WELD GAUGE
This rugged gauge is fabricated in Stainless steel, with measuring
range 0-6 mm. The pointer is easy to set & lock screw holds the
gauge in position for later reference. All four required
measurements are made with a single gauge. It is useful for
welding, maintenance & quality department.

A. To check butt weld crown or reinforcement height

This Gauge made in stainless steel, extremely useful tool for

measuring wire rope & sheave wear, sheave maintenance
by measuring sheave contour wear at the root, measuring
the amount of wear at the groove wall & measuring the
diameter of the wire rope.

A. Sheave Groove Root Wear: - Wire rope will wear bottom of the sheave groove to a radius smaller than the radius of the sheave . To
determine the amount of wear, place the proper size gauge in the sheave and shine a light behind the gauge. Light should not be detected
between the gauge and the root of the groove. If wear is evident, the sheave should be re-machined or replaced.
B. Measuring Wire rope and Sheave Wear:- A properly machined sheave groove allows a wire rope to pass through unhindered by friction or
obstructions. Sheaves should be checked periodically for wear in the grooves which may cause abration, pinching, and bird caging of the rope.
If the groove shows signs of rope imprints the sheave must be replaced or re-machined and re-hardened.
The correct size sheave is required to minimize wear and tear on rope or wire. When grooved become overly worn or are too large, they may
allow excessive movement, which stresses the rope and reduces its longevity. Likewise, too small of a groove compresses the rope and
reduces its useful life because the rope will roll into the sheave groove introducing torque and twist which may cause high stranding and bird-
cages.

the clip rule is 0.5mm and bore gauge is 0.1mm. The Clip Rule is a

This rugged gauge, made from rustless steel, it will check the
squareness of cutting tools such as tablesaws, scrollsaws etc.
and projects as well as any 45 degrees angles. Graduations
(2” in 1/32”) on the vertical edge of the tool. You will able to set
the height of your router bits or tablesaws blades accurately.

This is made of Stainless Steel, It provides a wide range of use in layout,

These parallels are useful as gauges in checking the size of work on

setups of milling and grinding machines, shapers, planers and drill

Beware! You may find Kristeel look alikes in the market being sold at cheaper
than market prices. A dealer may even fool you into believing that the cheap
price is due to a discount offered by the company.

The next time you encounter such an offer, ascertain its genuinity.
Here's how you can do it.
To identify an original Kristeel product, check for the following:

Permanent, non peeling D hologram on each product.

Smooth edges

A little prudence will therefore enable you to identify an original Kristeel product
from a poor quality duplicate. And ensure that in the lure of a bargain, you do not
end up spending much much more. Think of what a cheaper, poor quality
measuring tool can lead to. Frequent breakdowns, loss of vital man and
machine hours, delay in production leading to delay in delivery, cancelled
