Evidence The Tennis Tournament
Imagine you are arranging a trip to nearby city for a tennis tournament next
Saturday. You want your best friend to go with you, but, she/he has a very busy
schedule and needs to return by Sunday.
For this evidence, you will need to complete three parts. For the first part (A),
you need to have a look of the information about the tournament. For part B,
you have to plan a schedule for the day and write it down. Finally, for part C,
you will write an email to your friend persuading her/him to come with you.
Let’s begin!
Part A
Have a look of the Colombia International Tennis Open official website. Then,
read the order of play, which is the official schedule for games that has been
released by the tournament officials.

Order of play
For this part of the evidence, you need to write a schedule for the day in which
you consider the following aspects.
Transportation: Consider the time you will be moving from the train station,
bus station, or airport, to the Salitre Tennis Center. The same instruction
applies your return to the place from which you are departing (airport, train
station, etc.).
Food: Consider the times of the day in which you will be having breakfast,
lunch and dinner. (You can also include some time for snacks in between
games if you wish so).
Games: Based on the order of play and your personal interests, decide
which games you will be attending and include those in your schedule.
Now, write your schedule. One example has been done for you.

For this part of the evidence, you need to write an email to you best friend in
which you describe your plan in detail. Your idea is to persuade and convince
her/him to come and join you. Consider the following:
To: SANTIBRBR@EDW.com
Santi, Hello! How have you been? Are you free next weekend?
I was wondering if you'd like to come to the tennis game in Bogotá. We could
attend some games while you’re here. It's been years since we assist at
game together, I know you are not a tennis lover but it could be an
opportunity to share time. There very talented players are going to play, I’m
really excited. It starts at 1:00pm and by 4:00 o´clock we will have come
back home. Then if we have some time left, we could go to drink something,
it’s my treat! I will see you on Saturday in the morning.
When you finish your work, send the file to your instructor through the platform
as follows:
