35. SWOC analysis of the department

Strengths:
 Department has young, dynamic and dedicated faculty with excellent
commitment.
 All faculties have innate commitment to quality, positive moral and work ethics.
 Well equipped laboratory, library and class room facilities.
 There is a strong bondage and high level of interaction between faculty and
students.

Weaknesses:
 Relatively High –EAMCET Rankers are getting admitted in the branch.
 Because of the rural background of the students, communication skills at entry
level are weak.

Opportunities:
 Staff and students are exposed to latest technologies through FDPs, Seminars,
Workshops and Guest Lectures.
 Students are eligible for job opportunities in the software industry for which on
campus and off campus drive will be happening.
 Institutional support with respect to infrastructure, transport etc.
 Utilizing e-learning systems by the students.
 Students are allowed to participate in entrepreneurial activities.

 Challenges:
 Gap between the industry needs and academic programs.
 Continuous change in the technology is lowering the effective delivery of
graduates with skill on latest technologies.
 Making students equipped with skills on latest technologies.
 Making all the students to secure the degree with good percentage and
knowledge.

Future plans
 Entering into collaboration with Industries.
 Making all students skillful for employement.
 Invite eminent industry experts for hands on workshops.
