The paradigm of the study shows how will the researcher conduct the said experiment about the quorum
sensing inhibition properties of green synthesized silver (au) nanostructures against pseudomonas
aeruginosa. The flow of the experimental research will be according to the chart which is in I-P-O format.

The input of the study shows the variable affected in the experiment, while in the part of process shows
how will the researcher will conduct the said experiment, which will start with the use of green synthesis.
Green synthesis uses plants to make nanostructures, the plant that will be used in this experiment is a
basil. The nanostructures sizes will be checked by a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), moreover the
elements inside the nanostructure will be checked by using Energy-Dispersive X-ray (EDX), lastly the
contents inside the molecules, organic compound will be checked by an Ultra Violet - Visible Spectroscopy
(UV - vis).

In making the set up of the quorum sensing, a bacteria called chromobacterium violaceum will be used in
this process. Then an Agar Plate will grow and will be covered by a pseudomonas aeruginosa. Then, the
silvers of the nanostructures will be placed on round or discs flatforms.

After placing the nanostructures the chromobacterium violaceum, which is in the color violet, will lose its
pigment indicating that the quorum sensing is disrupted. The chromobacterium violaceum produces
molecules that binds the autoinducer, which is used to do a quorum sensing. Therefore if the quorum
sensing is disrupted then it wont bind the components, which will result in creating a discoloration. And
lastly the output shows the outcome of the experiment.
