Mission Our mission is to continually delight our clients by responding promptly to their inquiries and to
keep them updated with the status of their projects at all times. We will develop fresh lighting
designs and engineer them for precision manufacturing so we can lower our costs and eliminate
all forms of waste. This will allow us to offer competitive prices to our partners in the industry.
We will provide a safe working environment where our employees are not afraid to experiment
and try out new things. Our employees are our most valuable assets and we will strive to provide
career opportunities that can be filled from within the organization.

Commitment 1. Relationship. Each transaction should not be solely a business proposition with our client. It
will be nurtured so that the credibility of the company is always protected by making sure that
timely responses to requests are always met. Our sales and marketing team shall ensure that
commitments are delivered as promised with the utmost accuracy. “A promise of any associate

2. Timely Designs. Designs will be developed that will fit the requirement of the times, with a
strong focus on contemporary designs. Continuous product development shall ensure that there

RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION

MANPOWER REQUISITION
Departments are requested to project their requirement of manpower to the HR.
The HR in turn will have the President approved the request and invite applications through

 Print and Posting Advertisement at Barangay & City Halls/Schools


 Online Search for Applicants at Jobstreet/BestJobs/Indeed
 Known references

Format for Requisition for Manpower is attached

SELECTION AND PROCEDURE


On receipt of application, the HR will duly scrutinize these applications HR will call candidates
for interview and qualifying exam.

Prior to the next interview schedule, HR will conduct a background investigation (employment
and residency)

The second interview, if any will be conducted by department head of in need.

Final interview will be conducted by the President/Creative Director

Applications in respect of non-shortlisted candidates will be kept and maintained by the HR


along with Employment application form

In case of shortlisted/ selected candidates, HR will accordingly act on the instructions given by
the President such as Job offered, Compensation, Reporting to, Date of employment, Position.

On receipt of these details HR will issue an Offer Letter for the employment

HR Department will also brief the candidate of HR policies and general information about the
organization.

APPOINTMENT LETTER
Appointment letter will be given to the selected candidates after acceptance of offer letter. HR
must scrutinize and confirm the documentation of the candidate.

Terms and conditions of employment will form part of appointment letter and signed acceptance
copy from the employee will be kept in personal file.

A copy of service rules, leave rules etc. will be issued with Appointment letter.

JOINING PROCESS

HR department will receive a new employee and escort him/her to the office

An employee: An employee is any person hired by an organization for a specific "job” with
specific terms & conditions at a compensation decided mutually between them.

 Full time employee: Full-time employment is employment in which the employee works
the full number of hours defined as such by his/her organization.

 Part time employee: An employee who is available at workstation for half day, on
alternate days or for hours less than 44 hours a week.

 Consultant: A consultant is an experienced individual from specific field that is trained to


analyze and advise so as the organization can take best possible decision. He can be
from any department or project.

 Advisor: An advisor is an expert person from specific field, having deeper knowledge
from specific field.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIRMENT
Copies of the following documents shall be submitted to the HR.

 Highest Graduation/ Post Graduation Degree diplomas


 Transcript of Records
 Two recent 2x2 and 1x1 picture
 Certificates of Employment
 Payslip from previous employer.
 Clearance from previous employer.
 Certificates of achievements, Recognition or Reward.
 Two Valid Identification cards (Drivers license/passport/umid/
 Any other certificate to substantiate his claim on employment.
 Birth certificate (personal and dependents)
 Marriage certificate
 SSS/UMID ID or E1 form
 Pagibig ID or Loyalty Card or MDF
 Philhealth ID or MDR
 TIN Card or 1902/2316
 NBI Clearance
 Police Clearance
 Barangay Clearance
 Medical Exam Results (CBC,stool,urine,xray,drug test)

EMPLOYEE PERSONAL FOLDER (201 FILE)


HR will maintain service folder in respect of each employee. This will contain the following:

 Employment Application form


 CV of the employee
 Qualifying exam results
 Accepted copy of offer letter

 Copy of Appointment letter


 Any Notices/ memos addressed to employees
 Any other papers pertaining to the employee such as Confirmation Letter. Increment
Letter, Promotion Letter.
 Copy of Educational Certificates.
 Identity documents

CONTRACT SIGNING AND ORIENTATION


Contract signing and orientation is one of the most important events in the career of employee
in VLO. It is mandatory for all employees to go through the orientation process. It is led by the
HR

Orientation will be for all newly hired employees. It will be ensured by the HR that each
employee newly hired to VLO goes through this procedure

The following actions will be taken:


 Contract Signing
 Company Policy
Job Description - will be explained by the Head of the department. Special task will be defined
by the President as per work priorities or importance.
 Introduce the new employee to immediate supervisor / Manager and other staff.
 Factory tour
 Employee shall be provided/shown his / her place of work.
 HR dept. shall update appropriate records of education; training, skills and experience
account opening forms etc i.e.
 Update Employee Folder and check up the authenticity of the document submitted.
 Will conduct orientation briefing/training along with the respective department heads
 Initiate process for allocation of email account, ID card and biometrics registration.
 Will obtain & coordinate meeting with the President

HR dept. will issue a kit containing following.


BPI Payroll application form
Note Book
Pen & Pencil
Eraser & sharpener
