Novel Approaches in Disease Diagnosis Via Imaging Modalities in Veterinary Clinical Practice

LOCATION AND SEASON

Chennai is well connected by Air, Rail and Roads from all Major Cities of India. The
training period would be the most comfortable season in Chennai with temperatures ranging
from 21°C to 35°C. ICAR Short Course on
TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE
The Participants have to make their own travel arrangements well in advance. Travel NOVEL APPROACHES IN
allowance to the participants will be paid for the journey, to and fro, as per their entitlement
for the class of travel, restricted to the maximum of AC II tier rail fare excluding
Rajdhani/Shatabdi Express by the shortest route. Participants are required to produce

money receipt/ tickets in original for the support of their claim. The reimbursement will be
made as per ICAR guidelines. If any participant chooses to travel by Air, he/she may do so, VIA IMAGING MODALITIES IN
but their claim shall be restricted to AC II tier train fare, provided they travel by Air India and
book the tickets with ICAR code (095). VETERINARY CLINICAL PRACTICE
BOARDING AND LODGING
Participants will be provided with rent-free, accommodation in the teachers' hostel,
wholesome meals and refreshments. They are requested not to bring their family members,
as the accommodation is strictly meant for trainees only. No DA will be paid by the August 01 to 10, 2018
organizers to the participants. Local participants will be provided lunch and inter sessions
tea only.
HOW TO APPLY
As per the ICAR instructions, the interested candidates should register as follows and apply
online through “Capacity Building Programme (CBP)” portal only:
¯ Visit the website http://www.tanuvas.ac.in or click on Capacity Building
Programme link under http://www.icar.org.in/ or http://cbp.icar.gov.in
¯ To create user ID, use “Create New Account” link; Login using your ID and Password
¯ After login, click on “Participate in Training - Short Courses” link and fill the
proforma.
¯ After online submission, take a printout of the filled proforma and send the duly
signed copy through proper channel (recommended by the competent authority) to
the Course Director of Short Course by speed post along with the registration fee.
¯ The selected candidates will be informed by e-mail/CBP portal well in advance.
Once the candidates are intimated about their selection for Short Course, they are
advised to depart to Chennai only after the receipt of participation confirmation Sponsored by
letter from Course Director.
