    Q.1 a) The area of a trapezoid is 16 square meters. The altitude is 0.5 of the lower
    base and the lower base is 6 meters longer than the upper base. Write down
    the statement in equation from for the problem and determine the lengths of
    the upper and lower bases. (10)
    b) Solve graphically the following system of linear equations (10)
    6x – 3y = 2, 8x + 2y =12

    Q.2 a) The area of a rectangle is 64 square centimeters. The width is 12 cm greater


    than the length. Find the perimeter, length and width of the rectangle. (10)
    b) Find the area of the triangle whose perimeter is 12 cm, base is 4 cm and
    perpendicular is 3 cm. (10)

    Q.3 a) Find the surface area and volume of the cylindrical tank of water tank, if the
    radius is 4 meters and height of the tank is 6 meters. (10)
    b) From 30 families living in your street collect data on amount of milk (in
    liters) purchased by them on last Sunday. (10)
    i) Construct a frequency table of the collected data.
    ii) Draw a suitable graph to represent the frequency table.

    Q.4 a) A cone has the radius of 4 meters and height of the cone is 6 meters. Find the
    volume and surface area of the cone. (10)
    b) In three years you need to earn Rs. 1,00,000. If you get an interest rate of
    15.84% compound annually. How much do you need to invest now? (10)
