Green & Blue explores the painful and humorous realities faced by the
individuals who patrolled the Irish border during the height of the conflict.
Written by Laurence McKeown, directed by Paula McFetridge and performed
by James Doran and Vincent Higgins, the play is based on archive interviews
with police officers. This production looks at the person behind the uniform
and what it’s like to be hunted when you’re protecting a man-made line on
the ground.

Meeting Place Theatre and Teresa and Andrzej Welminski
Limbo, a contemporary European Theatre performance inspired by the works
of Kantor and Cricot2 Theatre. We invite you to experience a cacophony of
contemporary movement, sound and live art that has been influenced by the
collision of memory, history and literature. Enter the world of our abstract
courtroom and be put into Limbo as you witness the peculiarity of what it
means to exist. We all wait, and we all judge, and we invite you to join us.
“ Kramer is a talent to watch. She wears her heart on her sleeve, which translates
into dance theatre that is as vulnerable as it is emotional. ” Globe and Mail (Canada)
After their successful run of The Trial in 2016, People Zoo Productions return
to Bruford at Summerhall with their latest show, Men Chase Women Choose.
Taking its title from one of the many gender myths that pervade our society,
this show is intent on skewering some widely held beliefs and unearthing the
bad science behind them. Taking the form of a sketch show, with co-creators
Sophie Giddens and Eve Shotton at the helm, Men Chase Women Choose is
an informative and uproarious feminist romp that features fruit flies, film,
physical theatre and a flute solo.

A one woman show about heartbreak, madness and how condiments are the
ultimate coping mechanism. Award-winning playwright & performer Eva
O’Connor returns to Summerhall after 2018’s hugely popular Maz and Bricks.
When E meets the man of her dreams, a professional cyclist, love hits her in
the pubic bone like a train. But when it ends she plummets into a black hole
of heartbreak at the speed of a doped up team on the Tour de France.
“ It’s got polish, political bite and poignancy too. ” HHHH The Stage on Maz and Bricks

Tash is trying to fit into her clothes as well as her role in society. Watch her
cope with dressing for the five scheduled events that she has to cram into
her week. This one-woman show takes an honest, funny and revealing look
at the everyday pressure of women squeezing themselves into
uncomfortable outfits and situations and the marks this leaves behind. We’re
all guilty of wearing a tight piece of clothing or buying a size smaller than we
are actually are, but can we look and laugh at ourselves for doing it?
