Objective
To lay down the guidelines on ‘Work From Home’
Salient Features
• Pandit Ventures Pvt Ltd as an organization does not encourage Work From
Home (WFH) for its employees.
• In case of health/medical exigencies employees can opt for leave.
• WFH cannot be granted on a day when the employee is expected to interact
with stakeholders and go for meetings which require physical presence.
• Work from Home (WFH) policy is applicable to our On Role employees only.
• The employee should have completed 6 months with us to be eligible for this
policy.
• For employees who have not completed 1 year with us, WFH can be approved by
HOD only in case of Medical exigencies with proper medical proofs.
• The HOD can approve WFH for a maximum of 1 day in a calender month and a
maximum of 10 days in an year.
• The HOD has to keep HR and Departmental head in loop for all WFH
approvals.
• Any deviation from the above policy will require Management/CEO approval.
• This policy will be strictly monitored by HR. Repeated usage will be questioned.
Procedure
• An employee seeking WFH will request his/her reporting manager and HR on
mail stating the reason for the request to work from home.
• After evaluating the genuineness of the request and the impact on the business
by the reporting manager and HR, WFH is allowed with the final approval of
the functional / departmental head.
• If allowed, employee needs to give a prior notice (before the start of the office
hours) to all stakeholders and team members about his/ her absence from
workplace.
• Employee is supposed to login in for 8 hours and be available for all telephonic
meetings and calls.
• Reporting manager needs to set a clear deliverable for the day which will be
reviewed once the employee comes back to the workplace.
• If the reporting manager is not satisfied with the deliverables, he/ she can mark
the attendance as absent for the day of WFH.
