Reliance Jio­ Radio Remote Unit (RRU)

Antenna is connected to RRU and RRU is controlled by CDU which is placed inside
the shelter. The connection between RRU and CDU is optical which is know as CPRI
in Jio project.

Separate RRU's are used for each band and each sector, which means 3 RRU (1 for
850Mhz, 1 for 1.8Ghz, 1 for 2.3Ghz) for one sector.

Reliance Jio 2G,3G,4G Installation towers and Outdoor cabinets
There are different types of towers in reliance jio project where the installation of
2G,3G & 4G Antennas are done.

Types of Towers used in RJIL project:

1. Delta/RTT­ Roof Top Tower(9/12/15/18m)

2. RTP­ Roof Top Pole(3/6/9m)

3. GBT­ Ground Base Tower(40 and above)

4. GBM­ Ground Base Mast(20/25/30m)

In GBM tower the equipment will be kept inside the mast structure.
In  RTP/RTT/Delta/wall  mounted,  the  equipment  will  be  kept  inside  the
outdoor unit(ODC).

There are two type of ODC's (outdoor units)
