As the Hirer, you have to pay the Owner by way of installment payment of rental charges based on rental rate. Upon all the agreed installment are
fully paid, ownership of the motor vehicle is then transferred to you.
This financing is governed under the Hire Purchase (HP) Act 1967.
2. What is the Shariah concept applicable?
Hire Purchase-i financing embraces the Shariah concept of Ijarah (Lease) and subsequent Bai’ (Sale) also known as Ijarah Thumma Al-Bai (AITAB).
Based on the Wa’d (promise) made by the customer to buy the asset, the asset will be sold to customer at an agreed price upon expiry of the hiring
term.
3. What do I get from this product?
• Margin of Financing : Up to 90%
• Hiring Term : Up to 108 months*
• Rental Rate : Up to 10% p.a
4. What are my obligations?

As Hirer, you have the obligation to pay the installments on time, inform the institution (Owner) of any changes in your address & to continue to
ensure that the motor vehicle financed is adequately insured.
5. What are the fees and charges I have to pay?
Standard Fees RM
• Stamp duty – without guarantor 20
• Stamp duty – with guarantor 60
• e-Hakmilik charges 3
6. What if I fail to fulfill my obligations?
Should you fail to service your payment obligation in a timely manner, the following consequences will apply.
• Compensation Charges
a. For default payment during facility tenure = 1% p.a. on the overdue installment amount;
b. For default causing the facility to be terminated or brought to court = 1% p.a. on the outstanding balance (outstanding cash price portion and
accrued rental)
c. For default payment after expiry of facility tenure = BNM Islamic Interbank Money Market (“IIMM”) rate on the outstanding balance
(outstanding cash price portion and accrued rental)
d. For default payment post judgment = IIMM rate on the basis judgment sum.
Note:
i. Compensation charges shall not be compounded and more than outstanding principal.
ii. Compensation charges method and rate are subject to changes as may be prescribed by BNM.
iii. Compensation charges is computed on a daily basis from the payment due/maturity date/judgment date.
iv. The motor vehicle maybe repossessed if you do not keep up with the payments on the monthly installment of the Hire Purchase-i Agreement

7. What if I fully settle the financing earlier than the date originally agree upon?
If you settle the balance outstanding earlier, you are entitled to a rebate on the HP-i rental charges . The rebate shall be calculated in accordance with
the following formula:-
Rebate = RP x ( RP+1) RP = Remaining period (no. of months), from point of early settlement until
OP x (OP+1) original full settlement date.
OP = Original period (no. of months) set out in Hire Purchase–i Agreement

Note: The charges listed above are excluded of Goods & Service Tax or taxes of similar nature.
* Payment Charges will be deducted from customer’s Current Account or Savings Account.
** Payment Charges need to be added in the payment amount.
(Example: If the total payment is RM100 and customer choose payment channel via Maybank2u, payment charges amounting RM0.10 need to be added in which the amount payable is RM100.10)

Sebagai Penyewa, anda perlu membayar Pemunya dengan cara pembayaran ansuran berdasarkan kadar sewa yang dipersetujui. Pemilikan kenderaan
hanya akan dipindah kepada Penyewa setelah semua pembayaran ansuran yang telah dipersetujui diselesaikan.
Operasi pembiayaan kenderaan ini adalah di bawah kawalan Akta Sewa Beli 1967.
2. Apakah konsep Shariah yang digunakan?
Pembiayaan Sewa Beli-i ini menggunakan konsep Ijarah (Sewa) dan diikuti oleh Bai’ (Jual) yang juga dikenali sebagai Ijarah Thumma Al-Bai (AITAB).
Berdasarkan Wa’d (janji) yang dibuat oleh pelanggan untuk membeli kenderaan itu, kenderaan itu akan dijual kepada pelanggan dengan harga yang
dipersetujui di akhir tempoh sewaan.
3. Apakah yang akan saya perolehi daripada produk ini?
• Margin Pembiayaan : Sehingga 90%

Sebagai Penyewa, anda berobligasi untuk membayar ansuran pada masanya, memberitahu pihak AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad sebarang
pertukaran alamat dan memastikan yang kenderaan tersebut sentiasa dilindungi dengan secukupnya.

6. Bagaimana jika saya gagal untuk memenuhi tanggungjawab saya?
Jika anda gagal untuk memenuhi tanggungjawab membayar sewaan bulanan anda mengikut jadual, tindakan berikut akan dikenakan:
• Caj Pampasan
a. Bagi kegagalan bayaran ketika dalam tempoh pembiayaan = 1% setahun keatas jumlah ansuran tertunggak;
b. Bagi kegagalan bayaran yang mengakibatkan kemudahan ditamatkan atau dibawa ke mahkamah = 1% setahun ke atas jumlah tertunggak
(harga tunai tertunggak dan sewa yang terakru)
c. Bagi kegagalan bayaran selepas tamat tempoh pembiayaan = Islamic Interbank Money Market (“IIMM”) kadar ke atas jumlah tertunggak
(harga tunai tertunggak dan sewa yang terakru)
d. Bagi kegagalan bayaran = kadar IIMM berdasarkan jumlah penghakiman.
Nota:
i. Caj pampasan tidak akan dikompaun dan tidak boleh melebih jumlah prinsipal tertunggak
ii. Kaedah dan kadar caj pampasan adalah tertakluk kepada perubahan seperti mana yang ditentukan oleh BNM.
iii. Caj pampasan dikira atas dasar harian dari tarikh perlu bayar/tempoh matang/tarikh penghakiman.
iv. Kenderaan motor mungkin ditarik balik jika anda tidak mematuhi pembayaran ansuran bulanan Pembiayaan Sewa Beli-i.
Rebat = BT x ( BT+1) BT= Baki Tempoh (bilangan bulan) dari masa penyelesaian awal sehingga tarikh asal
TA x (TA+1) penyelesaian penuh.
TA = Tempoh Asal (bilangan bulan) yang dinyatakan di dalam Perjanjian Sewa Beli-i.
8. Perlukah saya mengambil perlindungan takaful?
Ya, perlindungan takaful adalah kewajipan bagi kenderaan di bawah Akta Sewa Beli 1967. Anda dikehendaki bertanggungjawab memastikan
kenderaan motor dibawah perlindungan takaful komprehensif sepanjang kenderaan berkenaan masih dibawah Pembiayaan Sewa Beli-i.
