MNChip Veterinary Data Management Platform
Operator’s Manual
The MNChip Data Management Platform is a Windows® application that saves Blood
Chemistry Analyzer results as files on a Windows® PC.
This installation guide describes the essential tasks needed to install and configure
the MNChip Data Management Platform. You will have successfully completed the
MNChip Data Management Platform when you can transmit data from the MNChip
Analyzer and view analyzer results files stored on the local PC.

Software”; for cable
data communication, if
necessary, download
“Data Line Driver”.
a) If the analyzer is connected to the PC via the cable, please click the button "Login COM"
directly.
Note: Make sure that the analyzer is power off before connecting the cable, and start
the analyzer when the cable is connected, otherwise the data management
platform may not be able to receive the data.
b) The analyzer can transmit data to the cloud server via WIFI, and the data can be
downloaded from the server to the local PC via MNChip Data Management Platform
Software. To this end, ensure that all the data have been uploaded and the local PCs
have been connected with the Internet.

3. Dictionary Settings
In order to edit the report easily, all items in the “Dictionary” can be preset as required.
a) Ranges Modification Modify reference ranges as required. Choose items which need to be
modified, double-click the table, set the values, and click “Save” to
finish reference ranges modification.
Addition Add reference ranges as required. Click “Add”, select "Sex", edit “Age
Upper/Lower Limit” and “Ranges Upper/Lower Limit”, and click
"Save" to finish the setting.
b) Species “Add” or “Remove” “Species” as required, and click "Save" to finish the setting.
c) Sample “Add” or “Remove” “Sample Type” as required, and click "Save" to finish the setting.
Type The three initial types are “Serum”, “Plasma” and “Whole Blood”.
d) Submit “Add” the doctors’ name as required, and click "Save" to finish the setting. After
doctor, setting the names of the doctors, it will be very convenient when editing the report.

e) Diagnos “Add” some clinical diagnoses as required, and click "Save" to finish the setting, it will

Remark
Note: The abnormal status (“lipemia”, “icterus” and “hemolysis”) of the sample will show in the
remark column, and correspondingly the background color of the sample information will be red.
4. Print Settings
Search The data management platform supports some keywords query on the local database,
such as Analysis Date, Owner Name, Pet Name, Pet Species and ID.
Click “Display All” to display all of the reports in the database if needed.
Paper Three printing formats can be chosen, which are A5 vertical, A5 longitudinal and A4.

Notes: ① If it is necessary to synchronize the previous test reports, click “Sync”, set the date
and click “OK”;
② If it is required to edit or print the test reports which have been synchronized onto
the database, please refer to “Print Setting”,find the test report needed to be edited and
printed.
2. Report Editing
a) Edit the Inspection Information
Select one test result and edit “ID”, “Pet Name”, “Owner Name”, “Pet Gender” and
“Pet Age” in the corresponding text box. Other information, such as “Pet Species”,
“Department”, “Sample Type”, “Submit Doctor”, “Reviewer” and “Operator” can be
edited in the text box directly or chosen from the items in the pop-up dialog by double
clicking the text box. Click “Save” when the editing is completed.
3. Report printing
Choose the test
report and click
"Preview" to check
the report. Notes: When you choose to print the test report with clinical
significance, the paper select will be A4 by default.
Ⅳ. Failure Recovery
If the test reports of chemistry analyzer cannot be synchronized onto the Data Management
Platform, please troubleshoot the software according to the following steps:
1. The software needs to be upgraded
Start the chemistry analyzer, tap “Settings”-“Network” and connect with the WIFI successfully;
and back to “Settings”, tap “Analyzer”-”Software version”-“Update” to upgrade the software to
the latest version.
Notes: It is normal that the analyzer will restart once the completion of the software
upgradation.
2. Make sure that the data line is properly linked with the connection interface and restart the
analyzer and the software via cable communication; make sure that the local PC has been
connected with the Internet and the date has been uploaded when via wireless
communication.
