Emi Dress Code
Emi Dress Code
Emi Dress Code
The purpose of this dress code is to provide guidance to staff as to appropriate attire for work and at any Ministry
function. Our guiding principles for the dress code are based on clothing that does not distract from teaching,
disrupt school activities, ensures a safe working environment and respects the culture of our host country.
The EMI Department has high expectations and standards for our staff. We do not believe that ‘fashion’ or ‘trends’
should influence the dress code. We promote professional conduct and presentation from staff at all times.
The dress code policy is something we take very seriously. Any staff who are not adhering to the policy will be
taken through the disciplinary process.
Use this booklet as your guide - the staff in your school might suggest that something else is acceptable, or there
is a more relaxed code in your school - this is not the case.
Consult your Lead Teacher / Lead Trainer / DCM if you have any questions.
