This project aims to develop an online and mobile-based movie ticketing system that allows users to book and purchase movie tickets over the internet and via SMS. The ticket reservation system automates ticket reservations and inquiries about availability, and provides email confirmation of ticket purchases. It will be developed using Java, Java Midlets, J2EE, and run on Windows XP with Weblogic 6.1 as the application server and incorporate Quasi groups Cryptographic Algorithm for security with an MS-Access database.

Abstract of the project:This project is aimed at developing an online ticket reservation system for Cinema Halls. The Ticket Reservation System is an Mobile based application that can be accesses throughout the Net and can be accessed by any one who has a via sms. This application will automate the reservation of tickets and Enquiries about availability of the tickets. This application includes email confirmation for the tickets.
