Tim is standing for election to the Virginia Senate to be the kind of candidate that he would want to elect.
One promise: uphold the Constitutions of the United States and Virginia, revised 1971 After that, everything else emanates from fundamental principles:

Life

is about more than just having a job. Its about having a purpose, individually and as a state.

Freedom

is about creating an environment in which people are free to find and live their purposes.

Justice

includes living up to our promises to those who have embraced our ideals of freedom.

Specifically this translates into the government doing something more and something less. More leading in front: Transportation
Everyone in our economy is moving something or someone from one place to another. The primary role of state government is to facilitate that movement to maintain freedom of mobility.

Less leading from behind: Health Care


Whatever the intentions of the health care law, to deny basic economic realities helps neither workers nor the uninsured. There should be justice for both employee and employer.

This campaign has a message for Republicans: You are not as alone as you think you are; so, 2011 is a good time to stand up and be counted. This campaign has a message for those who have not yet considered voting for a Republican: Your voice and wisdom are valued and appreciated, and I am interested in hearing from you as well.
