Self‐Help Services and Centers are
here to help you to help yourself.
We are a court service for people
who do not have an attorney and
need help. We can provide you
with legal information, but we do
not give legal advice.
• We are available to help both parties. That means we may
also help the other side in your case.
• We do not represent you and will not act as your lawyer.
Your meetings with us are not private or confidential.
• To hire a lawyer, contact the Alameda County Bar
