Cr2.1.8.a
Select, organize, and document musical ideas for
arrangements, songs, and compositions within
4
I thought of a lot of the choreography
Cr2.1.8.b
Use standard and/or iconic notation and/or audio/
video recording to document personal rhythmic
phrases, melodic phrases, and harmonic
sequences.
Cr3.1.8.b
Describe the rationale for refining works by
explaining the choices, based on evaluation
criteria.
3
We made a lot of good decisions
and refined our final product
multiple times. We tried to do
harmony but it did not really work
out during the presentation so that
is something we could have done
better.
Cr 3.2.8
Present the final version of their documented
composition, song, or arrangement, using
craftsmanship and originality to demonstrate the
application of compositional techniques for
creating unity and variety, tension and release,
and balance to convey expressive intent.
3
I think we did a pretty good job on
our presentation and our dance
moves were very in sync. I did not
look up and did not use much
expression towards the audience
so that is one thing I think I can
improve on.
Pr 4.2.8.c
Identity how cultural and historical context inform
performances and result in different musical
effects.
4
I think we incorporated the context
from the movie Cinderella into
our performance because we used
formal dance moves and we tried
to paint the picture of us riding
horses and dancing right in front of
the carriage.
Pr. 5.1.8
Identify and apply personally-developed criteria
(such as demonstrating correct interpretation of
notation, technical skill of performers, originality,
emotional impact, variety, and interest) to
rehearse, refine, and determine when the music is
ready to perform.
3
I think I used my own musical
talents and brought in a lot of vocal
strength towards the performance.
I did not bring forth a lot of
expression and emotion in my
performance which I could have
done better on. During rehearsals I
stayed on track and tried to take
leadership with the dances and
harmony on the piano.
Pr. 6.1.8.a
Perform the music with technical accuracy, stylistic
expression, and culturally authentic practices in
music to convey the creators intent.
3
I think we did sing with accuracy,
vocal strength, and in tune
together for the majority of the
song. We sang without a lot of
dynamics and expression in our
voices and we could have projected
our voices a little more so I think
that could have drawn the
audience in a little more.
Pr. 6.1.8.b
Demonstrate performance decorum (such as
stage presence, attire, and behavior) and
audience etiquette appropriate for venue, purpose,
context, and style.
2
I did have proper stage etiquette
and style in my performance, but I
could have been a lot more
animated and had more
emotion/expression in my face and
voice. This was unlike how I usually
perform because I had a lot on my
mind that day and I no I could have
done better. The next performance
I do I will make sure to improve.
Re. 9.1.8
Apply appropriate personally-developed criteria to
evaluate musical works or performances.
2
I did evaluate myself on my
performance and I know what I can
improve on next time. As I have
stated above, I could have had
more expression and emotion in
my voice and facials, and overall it
4
I think all three of us applied our
musical interests into our
performances and our voices
blended really well together. We all
contributed equally and used our
knowledge about singing and
theater to come up with ideas for
our performance.
