Timeline: Outline how long the action plan will take. FROM 1ST OCTOBER TO 30TH MAY.
Implement Intervention: What will you do and how will it work?
Firstly, I will have a meeting with families in order to inform about what the research is for and
which are my hypothesis. These are some of them:
- Some parents are not implied at all in learning process, so children are not
motivated.
- Some parents are too implied and learning process, so children are too
dependent.
- Some children do not have an organized time and space to work, so results are
not very good.
Data Interpretation: What do the data tell you
I will take the results from final evaluation en 5 th grade as starting point.
I will design a survey in which families will answer questions related to their habits towards the
school.
I will work individually, in the interviews with families, in the weakest aspects trying to recover the
worst habits. Families will be asked to work at home on those facts and will do daily action
register related with the aspect/s they have to change.
At the end of the year we will have a new survey to think on the changes.

Also I will compare the end of the year results with the ones obtained the year before.

Evaluate Action Research Plan: What worked and didnt and why?

Reflection: Why did you select this topic? What have you learned from this process?
I have selected this topic because I am sure that the family background and parents behavior
exerts a great influence to childrens development and behavior in and out of school.
