UTRASONIC DIAGNOSIS
V-3000
It consists of a large video display.
The scanned image represents the area of a
sector swept up to the selected maximum
depth of 7, 15 or 21 cm.
A calibrated scale appropriate to the chosen
depth appears on the edges of the image.
It allows accurate measurement of the
anatomy scanned.
The video monitor facilitates easy viewing
and simultaneously presents the ancillary
information along with the diagnostic image.
Key-board entered patient identification,
date, and time are displayed above the
image along with the frame number and
ECG trigger time relative to the R wave.
It can be operated in A or M modes.
The equipment can be controlled using two
sets of gain controls in addition to an overall
gain control, a set of seven slide controls
allow independent adjustment for each
depth.
The scanning speed is 30 frames per
second.
In the case of A or M mode study the speed is 15
frames per second.
A-mode: brightened line is superimposed on the
main display indicating the single ray along which
the data are obtained.
M-mode: it appears on the optional oscilloscope
and the information is printed out on a strip-chart
recorders.
For cardiac applications, an optional ECG
amplifier is available.
The V-3000 includes computer-directed
self-diagnosis, activated by a front panel
control.
These diagnostic routines test the various
circuit boards and show the results on the
main display.
Ultrasonic beam is swept through an arc to
produce sharp high resolution images.
Scanning is achieved using transducer and
microcomputer.
Wide angle image can be obtained and
also rapid imaging is possible and there is
no constraints on transducer positioning.
VIDEO RECORDER CART
It is a recording system and allows offline
detailed study of these recordings.
Recordings are activated by a foot switch
during examinations.
The cart contains video tape recorder,
monitor, a camera.
It can be easily disconnected from the
module.
It can be moved to remote locations for video tape
viewing and photograph making.
Applications:
Abdominal imaging.
Brain studies.
Eye analysis.
Obstetrics and gynecology.
