EDUCATION-RELATED EXPERIENCE Confirmation Facilitator February 1997 - August 2013 St. Clare Catholic Church As a facilitator for over fifteen years, I managed groups of ten to eighty high school aged students. Worked with other facilitators to plan, teach, and execute lesson plans for classes. Gave many presentations and provided behavior management when other facilitators were teaching classes. Worked closely with the program directors on a regular basis and mentored the youth leaders.
Classroom Observation Wheatley Middle School Completed 15 hours of in-class observation at Wheatley Middle School through observing students in the eighth grade preparing to take the Language Arts STAAR test.
OTHER WORK EXPERIENCE Development Administrative Assistant September 2013 - June 2014 San Antonio Museum of Art Provided support to the Director of Development and processed all memberships or other purchases that came through our department. Provided event coordination and support for multiple museum events. Coordinated communications with all museum departments, including the Director's and Finance offices.
Project Administrative Assistant and Coordinator May 2006 - July 2013 Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County Coordinated all operations for the Director of Exhibits' office, which included museum staff and over one hundred contractors. Worked closely with the Education and Curatorial staff to ensure exhibit content met the California state standards for teachers as well as being clear to the general museum audience. Coordinated all contracts and invoices, handling multiple confidential documents on a daily basis.
