    Area expansion of potential crops, linked with availability of planting material. Focus on establishment of mother/scion block of improved varieties with provision for good quality rootstock banks (At least 2 to 3 Scion/Rootstocks block in each districts) focus on nursery accreditation more TC labs in each State. Centre of excellence in each State. Focus on canopy management of orchards. Emphasis for rejuvenation of old/senile orchards for enhancing productivity, profitability and sustainability. Focus on cultivation of F1 vegetables. Focus on creation of water harvesting structures (linked with micro irrigation). Priority on Mechanization to enhance efficiency of labour. Focus on protected cultivation of high value crops. Focus on creation of infrastructure facilities for post harvest management, value addition and marketing support. Growers Association, FIGs, FPOs and FPCs. Convergence with other GOI Schemes like MGNAREGA, RKVY etc.
