Sacraments
In order to celebrate the following Sacraments here at St. Roch, it is vital to be an active member of our Faith Community by participating regularly in our Worship and being a registered parishioner. Registration: If you wish to become a member of our parish family, please stop by the Parish Office to register. Baptism: We ask that you please make an appointment, prior to birth, if possible, with the Pastor. Marriage: An appointment with the Pastor must be made atleast 6 months before the wedding celebration. Reconciliation: First Saturday of the month from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, or by appointment. Pastoral Care: If you or someone you know wishes a visit and/or Holy Communion during an illness or hospital stay, please contact the Parish Office.
Today we begin the 2013-2014 Catholic Services Appeal. We are called to be imitators of Christ. One way of doing this is by supporting the church through the CSA. The CSA touches the lives of many in our diocese. At some point in your life, you or someone you love will be served in one way or another through the ministries supported by CSA. Your gift helps each of the diocesan ministries reach out to thousands, including training our future priests, a respect for life, education in our faith, and ministry to the homebound. This week you will receive a letter from Bishop Cistone asking for your support for this years CSA. Please prayerfully consider a gift to this years appeal, fill out your pledge card, and bring it to ch urch next weekend. If you do not receive a letter, let the parish office know. Our parish assessment is $28,939 AND 100% participation. We are confident that we will exceed this goal, but we need the help of everyone. Remember that any amount raised above our goal stays in the parish. Thank you for being a part of CSA 2013-2014!!
The Knights of Columbus throughout the State of Michigan are holding a Thank you Mom for Life drive to help those mothers who struggle to provide for their small children. This is where they need your assistance. The Knights will be holding a diaper and formula drive the weekend of May 11th and 12th. Packages of diapers of all sizes and cans of powdered formula will be collected before and after all Masses. Monetary donations are also always welcome. Collections from the drive will be distributed to a local pregnancy facility in our community. Thank you for your help!
