1) It is difficult to provide for individual learning style

When we teach grammar, we need to use a range of different techniques that provide to those who likes/suitable the deductive learning of grammar as well as to those who prefer to learn inductively.

2) There is no well-defined approach to the teaching of grammar


This issue due to the different views of grammar in language teaching. When new teaching approaches emerge to fix the inadequate of previous approach, teachers may reserve their views and perception about teaching grammar

3) The argumentation on how to teach grammar


The first group of teacher believes that students will develop all the grammatical competence from exposure to rich input from the environment. This group supports the implicit (hidden) grammar instruction to language teaching. >The second group believes that explicit (clear) grammar instruction is necessary to ensure that learners how grammar functions in communication.
