Operation REVIVAL[edit]

The Tai-sas of the defending 3rd and 11th Pesht Regulars were of the old style, unwilling to accept the changes brought about by Gunji-no-Kanrei Theodore Kurita. Responding to the Clan's batchall correctly, the defenders met the Nova Cats on the Brodice Plains for a set of open duels, not unlike the Clan Zellbrigen duels. Duels that the Kuritan forces quickly lost. Hohiro Kurita and Shin Yodama had been sent to the planet as observers, and watched in horror as the commanders threw the lives of their soldiers away in outdated combat.[31]

Hohiro Kurita almost fell to a head hunting attack when, during the battle, the bunker serving as the command post of the Kuritan defenders was attacked by a team of Clan Nova Cat Elementals, only seconds after Hohiro warned the bunker's officers about the threat of just such a head hunting attack.[32][33]

For months, the 449th Assault Cluster and 489th Assault Cluster chased down the guerilla-style resistance. Finally, Victor Steiner-Davion led a portion of the 10th Lyran Guards to extract the Kuritan heir and the remains of the 311th Pesht.[34]

Operation BULLDOG[edit]

Teniente was invaded in the first wave of Operation BULLDOG by the Izanagi Warriors. The defending Nova Cat Sixth Garrison Cluster and 489th Assault Cluster lost the planet in a series of duels.[35]
