Cadet Tony Bernson was a member of the Benfled Tenth Cadet Corps as of November 3051, when he was taken as a bondsman of Clan Steel Viper.[1]
Personal Appearance[edit]
As of 3051, Bernson was six feet eight inches tall, and almost 250 pounds of solid muscle.[1]
History[edit]
Clan Steel Viper's 400th Assault Cluster invaded the planet Benfled in November 3051, as part of the Fifth Wave of Operation REVIVAL. After routing the seasoned mercenary unit Narhal's Raiders, the Vipers received a transmission from a cadet named Rene Duchesne, who informed the Steel Vipers that his forces still stood in opposition to their rule, and that he wished to bid against them in Clan fashion in a Trial of Possession for the planet.
The Steel Vipers agreed and for several hours bargained with Rene, eventually reducing their bids down to a single unarmed and unarmored warrior. For the cadets, Rene presented Bernson, who hoped his massive size and strength would give him an advantage. The Steel Viper champion, Star Commander Janine, was unfazed by her opponent's build. In a short but brutal contest which earned a mention in the Steel Viper Remembrance, Janine defeated Tony and took both him and Rene as bondsmen.[1]
