Biographie

• With two BET Hip Hop Awards under his belt for Track of the Year and Best Club Banger, it is no surprise that Kristopher Campbell, better known as K Camp, has developed the reputation that he has.

  Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin but residing in Atlanta, Georgia, K Camp’s huge career began in high school when he was a part of a group that went by the name of HBC. They split up after a couple of months because of a lack of ambition. K Camp took his music very seriously, without any intention of making a career from it. He would perform and record on his own, and in 2009, he released a party anthem called “All Night” which earned him popularity in Atlanta. He started to become inducted gradually into the underground scene especially releasing songs such as “Fan4life”, “Show Money” and “In Due time” which was hosted by DJ Drama”. When he released his single “Money Baby”, it peaked amazingly at number 20 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, and 34 on the Hot R&B songs chart. The single “Cut Her Off” that featured 2 Chainz, peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 60.

  K Camp released his debut EP entitled “In Due Time” on Interscope Records. It entered the charts on April 22nd 2014, and went to number 40 in the US R&B chart, and number 11 in the US Heat chart. The song “Turn Up For a Check” featuring Yo Gotti, made it to number 34 on the US R&B Chart. K Camp also featured on Snootie Wild’s track, “Made Me” which went to number 93 on the Billboard Hot 100, and number 38 on the R&B chart.
