Riffa and Umm Al-Hassam Continue Their Winning Streak in the Bowling League

Riffa and Umm Al-Hassam remain at the top of the General Bowling League standings after another round of huge wins in the fifth week of competition.

Riffa Dominates as Ahmed Al-Qaood Shines

Riffa cruised to an 8-0 win over Madinat Isa, boosting their tally to 34 points with a total score of 12,370, securing the top spot. Meanwhile, Madinat Isa remains in eighth place with 2 points and a total of 11,105. The match saw a stellar performance from Riffa’s Ahmed Al-Qaood, who recorded the highest score of the round with 243 points and a series total of 639.

Umm Al-Hassam Matches Riffa’s Lead

Umm Al-Hassam mirrored Riffa’s performance with an 8-0 win over Al-Hala, raising their total to 34 points with an overall score of 12,060, placing them second in the standings. Al-Hala dropped to fourth place with 24 points and a total of 11,801. Talal Al-Abdullah was the standout player for Umm Al-Hassam, delivering a brilliant performance with a high game of 245 points and a series total of 674.

Bahrain Climbs to Third Place

Team Bahrain continued their winning momentum with an 8-0 win over Al-Sam, advancing to third place with 32 points and a total score of 11,720. Al-Sam remains in fifth place with 14 points and a total of 10,767. Emerson Gotencio played a key role for Bahrain, achieving a high game of 222 points.

Al-Busaiteen Secures a Hard-Fought Victory

Al-Busaiteen edged past Al-Ittifaq with a 5-3 win, taking their tally to 13 points and a total score of 10,987, moving up to sixth place. Al-Ittifaq remains in seventh with 7 points and a total of 10,608. Yusuf Al-Ali stood out for Al-Busaiteen, recording the highest game of 217 points.

Special Recognition for Yusuf Al-Ali

On the sidelines of the competition, Bahrain Bowling Association General Secretary Nasser Al-Sulaiti honored Al-Busaiteen’s Yusuf Al-Ali for achieving the highest single-game and highest three-game series in the fourth round.

The league action resumes on Sunday with the sixth round featuring interesting matchups:

- Madinat Isa vs. Al-Ittifaq

- Al-Busaiteen vs. Riffa
- Umm Al-Hassam vs. Bahrain
