Nasser bin Hamad International Showjumping Championship Kicks Off in Bahrain

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and Honorary President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), the Nasser bin Hamad International Showjumping Championship (Two-Star Category) is officially underway.

Taking place at Al Raffa Military Sports Federation Arena, the prestigious event, running from February 12 to 15, has already witnessed intense competition and world-class performances since its launch yesterday.

Fierce Competition Unfolds

The championship got off to a thrilling start as riders from Bahrain and beyond showed their skill in the opening rounds. With high technical standards and open competition, the event has quickly proven why it is considered one of the standout fixtures on Bahrain’s equestrian calendar.

A Flawless Start Behind the Scenes

Ahead of the tournament, the veterinary inspection for participating horses took place under the supervision of Championship Director Abdulaziz Mayouf Al-Rumaihi and the organizing committee.

The smooth and efficient process ensured that all horses met the competition’s high standards. With the event now in full swing, excitement continues to build as elite riders battle for supremacy in Bahrain’s premier international showjumping tournament.
