Room 5-8 (titled Room 4-8 in the British English version) is the eighth course of Lava Dome in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis.

The course features four Mini Marios.

Overview[edit]

One Mini Mario begins in the top right corner, near a row of Fire Blocks. To the left of the Fire Blocks is a large structure composed of seven logs which surrounds two more Mini Marios; the logs can be burnt away if the player removes the Fire Blocks. Below the Fire Block row and the first Mini Mario is another log, as well as three more spaces for Fire Blocks. One of the gaps is already filled in, blocking off a Crash Kong. The fourth Mini Mario begins nearby, below a girder near the Crash Kong. A row of six Crumble Blocks is to the left of the girder; a Circus Kong is at the end of the passage below the Crumble Blocks and directly under a girder with the exit. To reach the goal, the player should remove the Fire Blocks and burn away the logs, then direct the Minis across the Crumble Blocks or to the Circus Kong at the bottom of the course.

Mini Mario Card[edit]

The Mini Mario Card is directly above the middle two Crumble Blocks. It can be collected by having a Mini Mario jump while it is walking across the blocks.
