Hi everyone,
After having taken a short break of a few months, I'm finally back! Reloaded and full of energy and inspiration. I'm absolutely stoked to hear what you guys think! In this development article I will be talking about the custom voices and showing off some of the exterior map sizes.
- Custom voices
A part of the story will be told the classic way by collecting notes and letters scattered around the maps, but where possible, for example during conversations and flashback, the story of Illusions of the Dead 2 is fully voice acted. When I started developing this Custom Story, I did all the voice acting myself. Soon I realised that a Dutch guy voicing multiple native English speaking characters was never a good idea. Then it hit me:
"I could use AI to voice the characters in my Custom Story!"
And so I did. Surprisingly, the AI voices are really, really good! You can preview the voice of the main protagonist, Marcus Grant, in the teaser trailer below!
- Map sizes and map count
I would also like to share some details about the map sizes in the Custom Story, highlighting the extensive effort going into development. Here are two Level Editor pictures from two of the exterior maps:

In total, there will be 16 playable maps (including the intro map), each with unique puzzles and monster encounters. Since there will be 4 chapters, each set in completely different locations, I hope this will provide enough variety in the gameplay! :)

Some retarded kid who uses dummy accounts to **** the reviews of many cs out there. The bad custom stories are being rated a 10 out of 10 and the good custom stories are being rated a 3 out of 10. Otherwise, the bad custom stories are on the top of the list. However, the good custom stories are on the bottom. Seriously? Like what in the **** was that kid drinking.
I think this is the most ****** up community I've ever seen in my life. The moderators didn't care at all. Banning accounts is not an option! They still use VPN to create as many as they want to do some **** again.
