" Michael Myers, pays Laurie a visit, while she is recouping from the injuries she sustain a year prior. Maybe, he is there to give her a present, or a hug? Dr. Samuel Loomis, doesnât think so. Can he get there before Mickey does? “John Carpenter's 1978 'Halloween' is wholly deserving of its status as a horror classic. To this day it's still one of the freakiest films personally seen and introduced the world to one of horror's most iconic villainous characters Michael Myers.
Which is why it is such a shame that not only are all of the sequels nowhere near as good but that the decline in quality is so drastic. Ok, the original 'Halloween' is very difficult to follow on from, but most of the sequels could at least looked like effort was made into them. 'Halloween II' is not the worst of them, or one of the worst of them. It is not really a good film, not by a long shot, but oddly enough it still manages to be one of the better 'Halloween' sequels and one of the few semi-watchable ones despite its glaring faul” read more

"Pros: A great continuation, of the first movie. Michael Myers, at his best. The tension, thatâs through out the movie. Music by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth. The very creative kills. Con: It can be very bloody, and over Kill in the violence department."
"Directed by: Rick Rosenthal Cinematography: Dean Cundey "
"Rated: R Why itâs rated: Plenty of people, having Unhappy Halloween, profanity, and nudity."
" "I shot him six times! I shot him in the heart, but... he's not human!" Directed by Rick Rosenthal Written by Debra Hill and John Carpenter Music by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth Cinematography by Dean Cundey Editing by Mark Goldblatt and Skip Schoolnik"
"For critics felt that, Halloween II picked up where its predecessor left off - and quickly wanders into a dead end that the franchise would spend decades struggling to find its way out of. My thoughts: Itâs one of my favourite entry in the series, and one that I enjoy watching every now and then, "
“I wasnât really sure what to expect from this flick but I thought I might as well check it out. Well, even if the opinions are mixed towards this sequel, to be honest, I thought it was not bad at all. One of the main complaint when it was released is that it was much more gory than its predecessor following the wave of slasher films released at the time but, since I have seen countless of such movies before, it didnât bother me. First of all, I didnât know that John Carpenter was involved with this sequel as a writer and producer and Iâm pretty sure it was thanks to him that the damned thing didnât become another lame horror sequel like so many others out there (However, to be honest, Carpenter apparently didnât care much for this movie after all). Anyway, as far as I was conce” read more

"Plot: A continuation of Michael Myers murderous rampage from the previous film. A rudimentary and unnecessary sequel to an absolute classic. Barring a few visually striking scenes, this movie adds nothing to the narrative. Worthless canon fodder characters, a barely-there story, and an overdependency on more extreme skills to justify a nothing plot. The lack of passion for this product is almost palpable. "
