I used to check rankings every single day. Now I don’t. Because these days, I only reach for one thing — my power drill ;) Let me explain. There was a time when I checked rankings every single day. Now? My team has grown, my calendar’s full, and I’ve learned to let go. Mostly ;) But whenever we launch something new — a content cluster, an experiment, a big bet — I still go back to the rank tracker and check Top 100. Here's the thing: Top 20 results are for daily monitoring. Top 100 is for strategic work. You don't need it constantly, but when you do — nothing else works. It’s just like a power drill. Usually, you don't own one. You borrow it from a friend to use it once in a while. But when you're building things, not just fixing them, you stop borrowing tools and get your own. Top 20 tells you what’s working today. Top 100 shows what will work next. That’s where progress lives — in the climb from position 95 to 30. That’s where competitors appear before they steal your traffic. So yeah, Google may have retired the num=100 trick. But we at SE Ranking didn’t. Because we’re still building. And if you are too, you’ll need the Top 100 as well.
