The VLTOR A5 buffer tube kit includes everything you’ll need to outfit your rifle with VLTOR’s patented A5 Buffer System (aside from a compatible receiver extension tube). The VLTOR A5 buffer tube kit is designed for the VLTOR A5 system and is only compatible with other VLTOR A5 products. This VLTOR A5 buffer tube spring kit requires the use of an A5 receiver extension tube. The physical dimensions of A5 buffer components are different than that of standard carbine or rifle buffer components. You cannot blend components from the different buffer systems. Doing so may result in injury or damage to your firearm.

Not worth buying
There is nothing wrong with the way product is manufactured or Omaha Outdoors service. I just dont think this A5 system is worth buying. I purchased it to replace H2 buffer/ regular spring combo on my 13.7” upper. One of the reasons was longer length if pull which I wanted since SBA4 brace originally installed on the gun was shorter than the regular stock and A5 would let me increase the length of pull. Its a moot point now with braces being outlawed. The other reason was to get “better” reliability and softer shooting experience. Well, I cant see any improvement over previously used H2 buffer/ Geissele spring combo, may be actually even slightly worse recoil mitigation, so it was also a dud.
