Jehovah-Rapha is our restorer. He is our healer of not only physical illness, but of the hurts in our heart and soul. In the book of Exodus 15:26, our God introduces His name as Jehovah-Rapha, “the Lord who Heals.” The word Rapha means "to heal, to cure, to restore." He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” - PSALM 46:10 In our stillness God wants you to let go of every past hurt. He wants you to give it all to him, one must actively cause the letting go; it doesn’t just happen out of the blue. When you are still with the Lord, His presence is felt. His whispers are heard. We can rest assured in His care. We will find His peace and joy. He will remind us that we are not alone. We will feel His might and power. His sovereignty will reign forever and ever. We will humble and surrender our will and accept his. He will be in control of all things and we do not have to fret and fear. Instead, just be still and know that He is Lord. He has got you covered.
