Tips and Tricks
The Playstation 4 has many features that go unnoticed that may make your use of the PS4 more productive, intuitive, and more importantly, enjoyable. Here is a guide to some of the best things the PS4 can do that you probably did not know:
switch apps quickly
Do you like the fast switching between apps and your game? Double-tap the [PS] home button to switch between your most recent apps and games. This works for most but not all apps and games at launch.

Futuristic Keyboard
Did you see the trailer featuring a rather futuristic way of controlling the PS4 keyboard? Well it's what some call the "Gyro-keyboard," and can be switched on by pressing [R3].
playstation app keyboard
You still insist that the keyboard control on consoles is poor? Not grasped the "Gyro-keyboard?" You can easily connect the Playstation app, available on iOS and Android, to your PS4 and selecting [Second Screen] and click on the Keyboard symbol at the top of your screen to use your phone as a virtual keyboard.
So you think you know the 'Share' button, certainly got a lot of 'press'... quite literally - well little known is the fact that if you wish to take a video clip or screenshot without navigating the 'Share' menu, you can simply tap the [Share] button twice and it will begin capturing. For screenshots, press and hold the [Share] button. Or, if you really wanted to, you could press the [Option] button > [Share Settings] > [Share Button Control Type] > [Easy Screenshots] - so a screenshot only requires a tap and holding it down brings up the menu - whatever floats your PS4 boat. Your last 5-10 minutes of gameplay will instantly be uploaded or streamed to your favorite services.
hold for settings
People giving you earache down the mics, just want to check how much battery is left in your devices? Holding down the [PS] button brings up a settings menu, similar to that of PS3 and PSVita.
Dual-Shock 4 Charge
When charging your Dual-Shock 4, the Lightbar is coloured orange and pulses slower as the charge increases. So if it's pulsing like a heart rate monitor as if you were watching PlayStation 4's awesome graphics, then it probably is a long way off full charge.
User Account Password
Don't like people snooping on your User Account? You can now set up a password for your user by going to [Login Settings] > [Passcode Management] and creating one there. Remember it though!

Light Bar Player Colors
Forgetting which controller is which? Who is in charge? Well the first user is blue, the second is red, the third is green, and the fourth is pink - or better known as the colors of the DualShock 4's facebuttons from [Cross] or [X] anti-clockwise to [Square]. Users will need to make accounts on the PS4 or play as a guest. All games purchased on the system will be distributed among all accounts.
More tips will be added as more are discovered. Pictures would be helpful if someone could contribute to that.
