Prime FAQ
What is Prime?
- IGN Prime is IGN’s premium subscription service that provides subscribers with perks and benefits including ad-free browsing, downloadable wiki guides and member exclusive game and beta giveaways.
- For more info, check out the latest Prime promotions.
- Prime members can also join our “Prime Club House” Facebook group to talk about all things gaming.
I’m already a member. What are the terms of my subscription?
- All of our subscriptions renew automatically up to five days prior to the renewal date of your subscription to avoid any lapse in your subscription. These terms are also detailed in our User Agreement, which is presented to you when you subscribe.
Your service will be automatically renewed at the end of your term.
- We understand that in many cases, customers may browse over these types of documents quickly. For that reason, we also remind you of automatic renewal in your order receipt email.
Why is my “Your Subscriptions” empty?
- If there is nothing in your Account Management page, you may not be logged in with the subscribed account. Please log out of his account and log in using the email address or username with which you subscribed.
I forgot to cancel before my subscription renewed. Can I get a refund?
- As provided in the User Agreement provided upon the initial subscription, we do not offer refunds, and all subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled prior to renewal.
Another family member subscribed. How can I end the subscription?
- Please have the person who subscribed log into their account and cancel their subscription. If they are unable to do this, they need to contact us here to assist them. The registered user is the owner of the account, and IGN Support cannot discuss that account with another party.
How do I disable ads?
- Log in and visit the Prime Hub [my.ign.com/prime]
- Check the box marked “Ads Disabled”
- Please be aware that the new ad-disable feature only gets rid of Pop Ups & Pop Unders, Full Page Interstitials, Eyeblasters, Showcase Ads, and Automatic Video Streaming Ads. Thus, any other types of ads, including surveys*, that appear on IGN cannot be disabled.
