Medea

Medea is a new character in Hades 2 and one of the few who are willing to lend offerings to Melinoë to help her on her quest throughout Olympus. Offerings are similar to Boons but operate slightly differently. On this page, you will find everything there is to know about Medea, including where you can find her and what offerings he has to share with Melinoë.

Medea Description

Medea is pictured wearing a long black dress with green and gold trimmings. Her headdress is made out of the same gold metal with matching green tassels falling to either side. She also appears to be levitating a small cauldron with red smoke billowing out of it, presumably part of her spellwork.

It is worth noting that Hades 2 is still in early access. Some portraits, like this one, are rendered more loosely than others. Medea's portrait will likely be updated when the full game is released.

Medea doesn't offer Boons in the same way as the other Olympian gods willing to share their power with Melinoë, but she does offer curses to help Melinoë and her cause. Hades 2 features Offering Doors, symbolized by a cupped hands icon. Each Location hides a different character behind these doors, and Medea is found behind the ones in the City of Ephyra.

Medea's Nightly Curses

Boon	Description
Life From the Dead	After a foe is slain, it has a 5% chance to drop +10 HP. Limit 1 per Encounter.
Enfeeblement of Cowards	Foe's ranged shots have -40% travel speed.
Suffering on Sight	After a foe joins the Encounter, it randomly takes 1 to 999 Damage.
Corrosion on Sight	After a foe joins the Encounter, it loses 50% of any Armor it has.
Malice in Kind	Whenever a foe makes you use a Death Defiance, it loses 15%.
Wealth From the Dead	After a foe is slain, it has a 10% chance to drop +20 Gold Crowns. Limit 2 per Encounter.
Traces of Spirit	After each Encounter, gain +10 Magick.
