A Plague Tale: Requiem Ending
With Amicia having reluctantly mercy killed Hugo to prevent the Macula from becoming unstoppable and consuming everything, she recluses away to a lodge in the mountains. Time has passed, with Amicia having a nearly fully-shaven head.
She meets with Sophia, who has arrived from her ventures in trading, now strictly of the legal sense, and they discuss Amicia's plans to set off and explore the world in an attempt to find the next Carrier and Protector, wherever they might appear.
Amicia makes one final trip up to Hugo's burial site atop the mountain, bids a fond farewell, and vows to never forget him and his sacrifice, before departing.
A post-credit shows the hand of a newborn that already has the telltale signs of the Macula, blackened veins, signaling that the cycle has already restarted and a new Carrier (and therefore likely another Protector) are already out there for Amicia to find and help out.
