Documented special versions?

Is there a good resource for all the Special Versions, like the Hakone, TS, RS 2.0, TRD, GR86, and other special factory versions? I keep stumbling on different ones and am surprised I'd not heard of them! I was wondering where I could read more about special versions of these cars.

Just a note on the Subaru versions, Canada and US had the same cars, but they were labelled differently (as far as im aware):

US Series.Yellow = Canada Inazuma edition.
US Series.Grey (i think) = Canada Raiu Edition.
US Series.Blue = Canada Aozora Edition
US Series.Hyperblue = Canada Hikari Edition

Not really sure the reasoning for this.

Different marketing teams. Same as we don't have BRZ Premium and Limited but just plain BRZ for base and and Sport-Tech for Limited. .

Perhaps I haven't been following the other threads enough, but isn't the 'GR86' the model name for the 'normal' 2022 Toyota?

The GR86 is the new name.
The GRMN86 was a concept car from Gazoo Racing back in 2015. Don’t believe they were ever for sale through dealerships so not really a Special Edition.
Edit. Apparently there were 100 sold in Japan only through Gazoo so could be called a very limited special edition if you really stretch the definition.

Other than the Hakone because of the color, I would rather make my own special version. None of these special version will be a 22b in the future. They will just get a bit more money than a regular one. Not saying they are not nice, but i have the mod bug and I might be less inclined to mod a special edition.

It’s funny, a couple of years ago a bike mechanic at my local Bike shop diagnosed me as someone who likes the process, not the end result. Basically because I love to build up mountain bikes, rather than just buy one. Constantly trying to improve them. I am the same with cars. It’s a disease, but it gives me something to do. And when something works well it’s very rewarding.

They sold the Kouki in GR Sport, GR, and GRMN trims as well (don't know if that counts a specific special edition)

Probably the rarest of any of the special editions was the Gunma BRZ. Pretty sure it was Europe-only, and only 250 were made. It’s basically a Series Gray/Raiu Exterior with a Hakone interior and 860 stripes. I like it a lot.
