- Synopsis
- Marina Reverte was working as a manager in a hotel when she is fired when she denounces the important businessman Ernesto Contreras (Manuel Ojeda), for attempted sexual abuse of an employee. He vows to take revenge on her. As if that were not enough, Marina receives the painful news that her mother, Beatriz Reverte (María Sorté), is ill. At the same time, in the town of Nuestra Señora del Mar, Damián Fabré, captain and owner of a fishing boat called "La Tempestad", works supplying merchandise for a cannery called Neptuno. Esthercita (Laura Carmine), daughter of the town's mayor, is obsessed with Damián, who does not respond to her flirtations. Mercedes Artigas (Daniela Romo), an elegant and mysterious woman, offers Marina the economic and financial management of the company Neptuno, an opportunity she accepts. This is how Marina arrives in the town of Nuestra Señora del Mar, where she meets Damián.
