Every Child is Holy

About this ebook
Every Child is Holy shows how easy and fun it can be to relax and enjoy the wonder of life through parenting, how much it matters that we give children environments and experiences filled with beauty and creativity; and how essential it is for children to have an intimate relationship with nature. Jewels Maloney shares gifts gleaned from 21 years as a teacher of young children, a professor of creativity, and founder of two nature-based schools. Be inspired, empowered, and let us begin!
Now is the time to consciously and actively CHOOSE to surround our children with love, beauty, and endless opportunities to grow into their unique fullness of expression and capacity, we all will live in joy. Do we continue to allow standards of competition, alienation, feelings of pressure and low self-esteem to be the by-products of what our children are exposed to? Or do we choose to nurture children’s innate tendencies for caring, compassion, creativity and wholeness? Do we default to political and education systems, or do we take charge of our children’s environments so they may thrive?
Do we choose to continue to compromise on what we truly want for our children and their happiness and well-being? Or can we reflect on what we truly value in life, and reflect on the current realities that surround our children and inform their development in our homes, schools and communities and choose to become creators of our lives? Are we ready for the emergence of the natural greatness of our children? Are we ready to witness humanity's true power? Are we ready to feel the magnitude of our children's capacities for love and their true needs? Can we begin again from a place of inspiration and awareness, of courage and passion for the benefit of our children now and future generations to come?

Praise for Every Child is Holy
I love this book. It cuts to the heart of what we need so much to raise healthy, vibrant, creative, loving, wise and alive children. And what is so sadly missing from our schools and often parenting as well. This should be on every parent and every teacher's bookshelf. ~ Peter Cutler, teacher and parent
Jewels Maloney has walked into our room and turned on the lights yet again. Always filled with love, joy and a new perspective she shines brightly and so do the souls that she touches... Ripple effect. Thanks for another brilliant writing! Please keep them coming! ~ Laura Schaap, parent and homeschooler
This book is right in tune with our times. I agree with Jewels Maloney, author of Every Child is Holy, that children need to have the opportunity to learn from inquiry, to spend great amounts of time outdoors, learning with and through nature, and to have caregivers that understand this and how to help children learn and to help nurture them as they grow. If we could have more schools like Jewels started, the world would be a better place. Thank you Jewels for sharing your wisdom and knowledge with us! I will spread the word to parents and others, and encourage them to read your book. This information is just right for our times, when children are inundated with the electronic world and spend less and less time outdoors. May your wise words help to change the face of education. ~ Sara Colburn, professor of Art Education and founder of The ArtMobile, Montana
