SUGGESTED OPENING EXERCISES
1. Usual Signal for Beginning
2. Prayer (Closing with the Lord’s Prayer)
3. Singing (Song to Be Selected)
4. Scripture Reading: 1 John 3:1–8
Director: Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
School: Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Director: And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
School: Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Director: And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
School: Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
Director: Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
All: He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Recitation in Concert:
Psalm 19:7–9
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
CLOSING WORK

2. Opening Sentences:
1 Corinthians 10:30–33
30 For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?
31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:
33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

Intro
R&B sensation Usher
Raymond released his fourth studio album, Confessions, in 2004. Billboard lists the album as the second-best-selling album for the entire 2000 decade. The album sold more than 1.1 million copies the first week, eight million in 2004, and 15 million worldwide. The album has been certified platinum more than 14 times by the Recording Industry Association of America, clinching the title as the best-selling R&B album of the 21st century by a male artist. Many credit the success of it to its relatability. It beautifully showcases the explicit and vulnerable confessions of a man to his partner about an affair with another woman. is still true today. But the practice of confession is not just a trendy topic for the secular world in the 2000s; confessing our sins is a biblical mandate. In this lesson, we will learn that we all should practice confessions because confessing and repenting leads
