    Introduction

Earning money through the least possible effort has fascinated me. Introducing myself to the stock market at 13, I’ve been able to gain a ton of experience with the markets. I’m a growth investor. It’s easier for me to predict which industry and which stocks will outperform in the next 5-10 years, rather than worrying about the short-term market movements. Growth stocks tend to come with more risk. News articles every day stating This is the next big thing or This company will fail come out every day. It’s easy to get distracted, but as an investor, this is the easiest way to get discouraged and sell your investment. After a certain period, these articles fade and turn into How much money you would have if you bought this stock 5 years ago.

Some of my best-winning stocks were: PLUG and NIO. Plug Power surged from $2 to an all-time high of $70. It is currently priced at $25. NIO rocketed from $3 to an all-time high of $62. Sure, now it seems like a good investment but at the time of purchase, these stocks were stale and didn’t seem like they, would increase to these levels. But all it takes is one good news to create a hot and lasting bull run for a stock. After further reading, you’ll be able to find your stocks that will exponentially increase your portfolio.

    How to Get Started

This seems to be the first question of every beginner. How do I start investing in stocks? Well, that’s easy. All you have to do is select a broker, but there are so many options to choose from. Some of the most popular brokers:

    Robinhood

    TD Ameritrade

    Webull

    E-Trade

I’ll go over the pros and cons of each one so you could decide which one is best suited for you.

    Robinhood

    Pros

Nocommission - Every trade is free

Streamlined interface - Robinhood is extremely easy to use. Some have argued that it’s made complex trading strategies, such as options trading, too accessible to inexperienced users. However, if your only goal is to dabble in stocks, the trimmed-down interface is highly convenient.

Free cryptocurrency trading - Robinhood is still one of the few brokers that allows you to trade cryptocurrencies for free, so among brokers this is a standout feature. However, if you compare Robinhood's crypto offerings with pure crypto brokers, that shine starts to fade. Robinhood offers: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin Cash,
