      INTRODUCTION

      If we all have our ways, we will love to create opportunities for ourselves and for other people. However, creating an opportunity for yourself or anyone else takes more than wishes. It is real work on its own. You need to prepare for it, plan along, be ready, and most importantly, know when to go for it.

      There are some critical qualities that are prerequisites to discovering of hidden treasures. This book takes an in-depth look into the life of an individual that wants to create opportunity. It is a thorough guide to the journey of being successful in life’s endeavors as the book reveals some eye-opening hints on what it entails to become an opportunity creator.

      Some people believe that opportunity creation is the responsibility of the government, some are of the opinion that it is for the elite. But opportunity is everywhere, available to anyone who has a fertile mind and a ready hand. This book will enrich your mind and equip your hand to do what you never thought possible. People often say to me that creating opportunity is not a topic for a period like now, and my reply is that opportunity is better created now than ever. It is even realistic to create opportunity in recession than when there is no recession. Robert Kiyosaki made his biggest fortune from real estate during the 2006 recession. Colonel Sanders of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) started his restaurant during the great depression of 1920 and it is still standing till date. So, it is not about the period but the mind which can uncover hidden treasures.

      I used to have a self-imposed myth that children from rich background does not always have moral values like children from poor homes, but as life never stops teaching, I learned, to my greatest surprise, that moral values are not elements of riches. Also, some groups of individuals are of the opinion that greener pasture is only on the other side of Nigeria, but think again because there are businesses that have grown to international benchmark from here (Zenith Bank, Globacom etc.), there are personalities that have made their mark on the global scene (Pastor Adeboye, Okonjo-Iweala, Aliko Dangote). Therefore, it is not a matter of where but of who.
