Ozzy Osbourne's former guitarist Jack E. Lee shares health update two days after being shot multiple times

Ozzy Osbourne's former lead guitarist Jake E. Lee has shared an update on his condition just two days after he was shot multiple times.

The musician broke his silence on Thursday in a post shared to the Facebook page for his band Red Dragon Cartel.

After thanking fans for the condolences, the 67-year-old rocker opened by clarifying that he had been 'shot three times.'

'I was on my way back home from walking my dog Coco (I didn't name him so don't!),' Lee explained, while including a photo of the adorable pooch.

'Don’t want to go into details now, I’m tired, but I feel relatively very lucky,' he continued, before outlining how the shooting could have been so much worse.

'The police found 15 shell casings at the scene which means he emptied his clip on me,' Lee explained, before sharing the grisly details.

'I could only dodge so many so one bullet went through my forearm, one through my foot, and one in the back which broke a rib and damaged a lung,' he revealed. 'Priority now is to keep draining my lung till it’s done crying. Then we can pull that tube out and concentrate on the more minor injuries.'

In spite of the heavy content, the guitarist ended on a light note.

'And by the way, Coco’s fine and appreciates your inquiries!' he wrote.

Although he didn't include a photo of himself post-attack, Lee's gray-and-white dog was pictured lying down on a red leather sofa as he looked ready to drift to sleep.

Lee's representative previously said he had been shot 'multiple times' during a 'street shooting.'

'Lee is fully conscious and doing well in an intensive care unit at a Las Vegas hospital,' he said.

Even before his update, he was expected to make a full recovery.

Early investigations reportedly suggest that the shooting was 'completely random,' though few details have emerged so far.

According to police, Lee was taking his dog for a walk around 2:45 a.m. when the shooting took place.

The incident is now under police investigation.

On Tuesday, Ozzy Osbourne responded to his former guitarist's shocking attack while speaking to TMZ

'It’s been 37 years since I’ve seen Jake E. Lee, but that still doesn’t take away from the shock of hearing what happened to him today. It’s just another senseless act of gun violence,' the legendary Black Sabbath frontman declared.

'I send my thoughts to him and his beautiful daughter, Jade,' he continued, adding, 'I just hope he'll be OK.'

Lee is best known for his five year stint as Osbourne's lead guitarist, from 1982 to 1987.

He was drafted to replace former guitarist Brad Gillis, only to be unceremoniously dismissed from the band five years later during a phone call with Sharon Osbourne.

At the time, Lee said he was caught off guard by the decision, and he later said bassist Phil Soussan was 'partly instrumental in getting me fired.'

Lee went on to become a member of Badlands, before forming the band Red Dragon Cartel in 2013.

The random act of violence has prompted an outpouring of support and well wishes from fans, who say they're praying for his speedy recovery.

'What has happened to our country?' one fan asked.
