Bramley shopping centre, 2024
The shopping centre in Bramley (Leeds) dates from c.1980 and its construction involved the demolition of several streets of older housing. It includes a medium size Tesco supermarket and many smaller shop units with flats or offices above, and a medium rise office blcok that in recent years has been converted to residential use.
As with other shopping areas, some businesses last many years, others are ephemeral. I created this shared description to cover my photos of the shops as they were in March 2024, but for all contributors' previous images of the centre, see Link
