Low tide at Park Point
Low tide at Park Point
The limestone headland is where the Kent estuary broadens out into the wider reaches of Morecambe Bay. At low tide it is perfectly possible to walk on the exposed sands. Across the estuary is Grange-over-Sands with Hampsfell rising above it.
