by Karl and Ali
The shore of the Kent estuary between the points is almost continuous limestone cliffs. Here, the cliffline is breached by a sloping ramp formed by the upper surface of one of the beds, seen here SD4376 : The Ramp from the exposed sands at low tide.

Heading up the Kent estuary
by Karl and Ali
The tide has just receded from the sands close to the rocks of Park Point as we head up the estuary. It's a filthy day but at least the wind is now behind us.
