View east on Bridge Street, across Westminster Bridge to the South wing of the former County Hall. On the left is Portcullis House (mainly Parliament offices, not open to the public), with the station entrance. This was newly built along with a new 'Tube' station on the Jubilee Line Extension when it opened Green Park - Stratford in December 1999, below the much older District/Circle Line Westminster station. (Cf. TQ3079 : Westminster Underground Station and TQ3079 : London, SW1).
